Total area covered by wall
= length x width
= 80 feet x 10 feet
= 800 sq.ft.
Calculate the quantity of wet wall
We have two type of gallons
1 UK Gallon = 4.54 litres
1 US Gallon = 3.785 litres
1 Gallon = 350 sq.ft. area covered.
Paint Quantity = (Area of wall / Paint covered area)
= 800 sq.ft / 350 sq.ft
= 2.285 gallon
Now convert into litre
= 2.285 x 3.785 (US Gallon)
= 8.64 litre
Price of paint = No. of litre required x Price of 1 litre
= 8.64 x current price
