SUNPLEX
SUNPLEX is a high quality
admixture, suitable to make a product which has controlled residual expansion. When
used with cementitious mixes will aid in grouting of all sorts of gaps encountered
in construction, like cracks, ducts, in fill etc. The grout provides the
expansion characteristic through overall expansion. The plasticizer in it,
lowers water demand, resulting in all connected benefits, like higher strength,
lower permeability.
The mixture provides products
which have easy flow or workability, making the injection or grouting process
easy and efficient. The grout has no metallic iron, avoiding likely corrosion. The
product design ensures early strength, without accelerators like chlorides.
This is an admixture in powder
form and produces expansion in Portland cement based mixes like grout, mortar
and concrete. The expansive component causes the expansion while the pasticiser
helps in achieving high workability and the stabilizing part of the admixture
works towards providing a homogeneity and counteracts intrinsic shrinkage and
settling characteristics.
