TRAINING OF SUPERVISORS

Industrial concern also makes arrangements to give training to the supervisors. Such training gives the knowledge to the supervisors as to how to solve the problems when they arise. Training within industry solves this problem through trained supervisors.

A supervisor or foreman should possess the following qualifications:

Training is imparted to supervisors through conferences, seminars, lectures and discussions.


APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING


Apprenticeship is the process by which the worker is attached to an old experienced worker. This method of training is being followed in the trades of technical field as well as commercial field. The main object of such training is to make the person an all-round craftsman. It is the experience. There is no guarantee that the trained worker will continue to work in the same organisation. The apprentices are to part from the company according to agreement. Candidates for apprenticeship are selected after careful examination.
