Check whether permission in writing is obtained from client for blasting work.

b)     CONTROLLED

Check underground utilities like sewers, water pipelines, cables etc are at a safe distance from the area of blasting.

4.

Check the distance of adjoining structure from the area of blasting. Is it safe ? (If the distance is more than 70m then obtain permission from client for OEN BLASTING)

5.

Do blasting engineer, foreman & sub-contractor have valid license for blasting ?

6.

Check that explosive (detonator & zelatine) are carried in the specific boxex by the explosive van, observing safety rules at site ?

7.

Check that, explosives are stored in safe place away from working area, observing safety rules specified by Explosives commissioner.

8.

Check that, day to day proper register is maintained for the blasting and signed by blasting expert, safety officer, client & main contractor and site in-charge.

9.

Has the hole misfired ?

10.

Check whether means of access and exit provided from the work area are adequate.

11.

Check the dewatering arrangements water logged area. Is it O.K.?

12.

Are JOINT INSPECTION RECORDS complete ? CONTROL LINES O.G.L. FOUNDATION LEVEL DEPTH OF EXCAVATION
