Area of roof portion A1

= ½ (9.00 + 5.75) x 3.25 sec 30⁰

= 27.66 m²

Area of A1 = 27.66 m²

Area of A2

=1/2 x 6.50 x 3.75

= 12.19 m²

Total roof area

= 2 x 27.66 + 12.19

= 67.51 m²

Let the size of manglore tile be 30 cm x 15 cm

Total tiles required

= 67.51 / 0.30 x 0.15

= 1500.22 say 1501 nos.

Total no. of common rafters

= (5.75 / 0.45) + 1

= 13.78 say 14 nos.

For two sides = 2 x 14 = 28 nos.

Length of common rafter

= 3.25 sec 30

= 3.75 m

Horizontal length of hip rafter

= 

= 4.59 m

Inclined length

= 4.59 x sec 30⁰

= 5.30 m
