How to make bar bending schedule for slab reinforcement?


BBS OF SLAB (TWO WAY)



SECTION – A-A

No. of bar = (Length/Spacing) + 1

= (6000/100) + 1

= 61 nos.

Cranked bar = 31 nos.
Straight bar = 30 nos.


CRANKED BAR

Cutting length = L + Crank + Ld – Bend

= 5000 + (0.42D x 2) + (50d x 2) – (4 x 1d) – (2 x 2d)

= 5000 + (0.42 x 138 x 2) + (50 x 12 x 2) – (4 x 1 x 12) – (2 x 2 x 12)

= 6220 mm

= 6.22 meter


For 32 nos.

= 6.22 x 32

= 192.82 meter



STRAIGHT BAR

Cutting length = L + Ld

= 5000 + (2 x 50d)

= 5000 + (2 x 50 x 12)

= 6200 mm

= 6.2 meter


For 30 nos.

= 6.2 x 30

= 186 meter


TOP BAR (EXTRA)

No. of bar = [(LI/5)/100] + 1] x 2………..(for 2 sides)

= [(6000/5)/100] + 1] x 2

= 26 nos.


Cutting length = L – (2 x L/5) + (2 x 100)

= 5000 – (2 x 5000/5) + 200

= 2800 mm

= 2.8 meter


For 26 nos.

= 2.8 x 26

= 72.8 meter


SECTION – B-B

No. of bar = (Length/Spacing) + 1

= (5000/100) + 1

= 51 nos.

Cranked bar = 26 nos.
Straight bar = 25 nos.


CRANKED BAR

Cutting length = L + Crank + Ld – Bend

= 6000 + (0.42D x 2) + (50d x 2) – (4 x 1d) – (2 x 2d)

= 6000 + (0.42 x 138 x 2) + (50 x 12 x 2) – (4 x 1 x 12) – (2 x 2 x 12)

= 6000 + 115.92 + 1200 – 48 – 48

= 7219.92 mm

= 7,219 meter


For 26 nos.

= 7.219 x 26

= 187.71 nos.


STRAIGHT BAR

Cutting length = L + Ld

= 6000 + (50d) x 2

= 6000 + (50 x 12) x 2

= 7200 mm

= 7.2 meter


For 25 nos.

= 7.2 x 25

= 180 meter


TOP EXTRA BAR

No. of bar = [(L/5 + 1) / 100] x 2

= [(5000/5 + 1) / 100] x 2

= 21 + 1

= 22 nos.


Cutting length = LI – (2 x LI/5) + (2 x 100)

= 6000 – (2 x 6000/5) + 200

= 3400 mm

= 3.4 meter


For 22 nos.

= 3.4 x 22

= 74.8 meter
