POLYTANCRET NGT

This is a liquid polymeric admixture, useful for increasing the strength of concrete or mortar. It is also useful for modifying and improving several properties of fresh or hardened concrete.

The economics of concrete production is governed primarily by the selection of right materials, although construction costs do count in totality. The levels of design sophistication reached to-day, do not allow any scope to reduce material consumption and costs. Hence further savings can now be effected mostly by improving the quality and strength of materials used in construction. Durability is a major issue today which also needs to be addressed. Accordingly concrete of high strength & durability has been developed by using new materials such as polymers, various fibres, etc.

Use

POLYTANCRET NGT is recommended for use in all concrete produced related to building and civil engineering construction: prestressed concrete, precast concrete, waterproofing plaster, free flowing concrete or mortar and pumpable concrete mixes etc.

Testing Standards

·  Tests for compressive strength and other concrete parameters show considerable improvement in properties.

·        A.S.T.M. C-494 Type F Confirms to the requirement.

Advantages

Use of the prescribed quantities of POLYTANCRET NGT considerably improves several properties of concrete:

In Plastic Concrete
In Hardened Concrete
Improves Finishability
Increases all strengths
Improves Workability
Improve finished appearance
Reduces Water requirements
Reduces cracking
Reduces Segregation
Reduces permeability

POLYTANCRET NGT reduces the water/cement ratio considerably while maintaining the workability. Hence calculate the gauging water, by 10% to 20% volume reduction. It is desirable to have trial mixes to assess the actual effect of the ingredients under field conditions.

Instruction for use

POLYTANCRET NGT is water soluble and is to be added to the gauging water (water to be mixed in the concrete/mortar). Add 100 ml to 400 ml per bag (50 kg ) of cement or as per requirements of slump or workability.

Packing
