• Prepare a list of activities included in a project, along with other depending activities.

  • Prepare a rough draft first.

  • Find the estimated time required for completing each activity.

  • Write down this estimate on each activity.

  • Prepare scheduling computations and find the earliest and latest allowable start and finish times for each activities so as to identify the critical path and to indicate the amount of slack on non-critical paths.

  • Prepare the final form to be used in the field. The project is to be controlled by checking off progress against the schedule.
