Stone Crusher and Granulator

Crushers are used to reduce the large rock or boulders into smaller and uniform sizes useful for concrete mix. The various stages involved in the production of crushed aggregates are drilling, blasting, loading, transporting, crushing, screening, handling and storing.

Crushers are classified as follows:

·        Pressure Crushers : Jaws crushers and Gyratory Crushers.

·        Impact Crushers : Hammer Mills and DTS Integrators.

·        Poll Crushers : Grinding Type Machines.

Compressors and Pneumatic Tools

Compressed air is widely used in construction operation for drilling rocks, loosening earth, operating air motors, hand tools, pile drivers, pumps, mucking equipment, cleaning, etc. The energy supplied by compressed air is the most suitable method of operating equipment and tools. When air is compressed, it gets the required energy from the compressor. This energy is later on transmitted through a pipe or hose to the operating equipment. This portion of transmitted energy is converted into mechanical work.

Air compressor can be defined as a machine used to increase the pressure by reducing its volume.

Following are the various types of compression:

·        Reciprocating compressor

·        Single-acting compressor

·        Double acting compressor

·        Centrifugal compressor

·        Rotary compressor

Stationary compressor

Stationary compressors are generally installed where compressed air is required for a longer period. They may be driven by steam, electric motors or I.C. engines, stationary compressor consists of prime mover, suction line, air filter, intercooler, safety valves, after coolers, receiver and distribution system.

Portable compressor

It is used when the equipment is required to be moved frequently to meet the demands.
