INTERNAL PLASTER


Surface Preparation :


  • Chipping of bulged concrete to bring it in one level.

  • Hacking and/or applying hack-aid over concrete surface.

  • Level gauge patches @ 1.5 M to 1.60 M interval (Horizontally & Vertically) To be checked with plumb bob, string tied diagonally vertically and right angle wherever applicable.

  • Completion of concealed electrical conduits and plumbing lines.

One coat Plaster :


  • Mortar should be mixed in mixer only.

  • Plastering done with aluminum level Patti with respect to level gauge patches.

  • After 30 min. neeru applied with blade.

  •  Leakages if any (toilet/w.c.) attended.

  • Window sills jamb and/or subframe should be completed.

  • Vertically of window/door frames.

  • Watering (Tarai) is done one day before.

  • To check that the thickness of plaster for ceiling should not exceed specified thickness i.e. 12 mm.

  •  Availability of Farmas for mixing of mortar.

  • Concrete nails to door hold fasts on cool side.

  • Fixing chicken mesh at RCC/masonry joints/concealed electrical conduit.

  • Availability of mortar trays (optional).

  • Changes (Alterations) if any completed.

  •  Fans hooks on ceiling in position.

  • Junctions boxes temporarily sealed.

  • Whether floor is clean before plaster and after plaster work.

  •  To check quantity of cement mortar.
